Testimonials

I met Mike going into a hardware store one day. I noticed his English Auto uniform and asked if they worked on Land Rovers, he replied yes we do. I had a Land Rover and was looking for a top shelf company that was not a dealer to handle my work. We have all heard the dealership horror stories and I was not going to be in one. Well, to make a long story short. I take all my cars to English Auto now. I have a new FJ Cruiser that the dealer has never even put his hands on for service in over two years now. Additionally, we have a new 350Z same story as the Fj Cruiser, no dealer hands allowed, much less having it in their filthy shop. Take your car to a dealer for service and you will get it back dirty with grease on it, not at English Auto. As well we own a Porsche Boxster that we happily have English auto care for.

No one other than English Auto is allowed to work on my vehicles. To put it frankly as I do sometimes, they treat my cars the way I want them to be treated, not the way they want to treat them. I have made it clear to Shane and Mike on several occasions exactly how I want my cars treated. Time and time again, they take true pleasure in exceeding my requirements for auto care. Not too mention, the shop floor is so clean you can see your reflection in it.

If you want first class service from people who take ownership of what they provide to their customers, English Auto is second to none in my opinion.

Shane and Mike are truly running a first class facility.

Recently I was having problems with the performance of my Jaguar. It sputtered and coughed and didn't give me the performance I was used to. I would go to pass another car on the beltway and had to pull back into my lane as the car didn't respond.

After consulting with the both of you, it was determined that one or two of my coils might be bad. The only downside was that until a warning light appeared on the dash, I would have to wait for the computer to determine which coils were at fault.

I decided at that point to replace all of the coils at the same time.

Since then, I can't tell you how much better my car has performed. It feels almost as if it was the car I drove out of the dealership when I brought the Jag new. ... Once one coil goes, replace the lot...

I want to write and thank you for the recent service on my Jaguar. Not only did you find the source of the problem, but you fixed it promptly.

As you recall, when my car would not start a couple of weeks ago, my former mechanic was sure that the timing belt was broken. He ran a number of diagnostic tests and insisted that the extent of the damage required me to get a new engine. A friend at work suggested I have it towed to your shop and get your opinion. I was astonished to hear you say that the engine was in excellent condition. You discovered that the problem was a dead battery and the cylinders were flooded. What a difference!

Thank you for your courteous and honest service.
I will call you first for service from now on.
With all best wishes

We bought our Jaguar X-type from Laurel Jaguar, the Service and repair facility Director Shane Ewing took very good care of the Jaguar and did everything possible to make our experience a happy and memorable one. The care has served us well for many years and still looks and performs as good as the first day we took delivery.

This fact is a reminder that as long as we have a Jaguar car, we prefer the care that Shane Ewing and Mike Raup provide, they are the best, there is no doubt. We have no hesitation to refer you to English Auto and certainly the new facility to take care of our Jaguar and it's continued performance.
